The government has announced new dates for GSTR-1 filing with different dates for different filing categories. In this post, we will see what the new GSTR-1 due dates are.

As we have previously seen, taxpayers with turnover below 1.5 Crores now have an option to file monthly or quarterly returns. Now, these return filing processes have a new deadline.

For taxpayers who have annual turnover below 1.5 Crores and have opted for quarterly returns filing, the following due dates are applicable:

1 July – September, 2017 10th January, 2018
2 October – December, 2017 15th February, 2018
3 January – March, 2018 30th April, 2018

The next category is applicable for two types of taxpayers:

  • Taxpayers with annual turnover above 1.5 crores
  • Taxpayers with annual turnover below 1.5 crores who have opted for monthly filing

For both these categories, the following due dates are applicable:
