The GST council has announced that the due date for filing of GST TRAN 1 is extended to 31st October.
Most businesses appreciate the additional time given to prepare and file the TRAN 1 returns. Also, a provision to revise the TRAN 1 returns has also been provided by the council.
Please note that the due date for both original and revised return both are on October 31st, 2017. We recommend that in order to avoid the last-minute rush, you file your TRAN 1 returns well before the due date. This will also give you an opportunity to revise the returns by the due date if needed.
